Hybrid architecture – flexibility without limits

BE WAVE Hybrid control panels support both wired devices, including those connected via the SATEL BUS based on the RS-485 standard, and devices using ABAX 2 wireless communication technology. This combines the reliability of wired solutions with the flexibility of wireless technology.

Beyond conventional wiring

BE WAVE Wire is a solution designed mainly for new buildings and renovation projects. It is based on wired communication using the SATEL BUS protocol (based on the RS-485 standard), as well as the zones and outputs of the control panel and expanders.

In new or renovated buildings, wired installations can be complemented by wireless devices in finished or hard-to-access areas without interfering with the existing interior finish. The system easily adapts to apartments, houses, and commercial facilities, enabling advanced projects without the need for major future reconstruction.

BE WAVE Soft is a professional tool designed for installers. It enables full configuration, administration, and control of all BE WAVE systems. The software offers a clear interface, intuitive navigation and a logical automation creation process make system setup setup fast, while advanced diagnostics and event history provide complete insight into system operation.

Everyday local control

BE WAVE systems can be operated using touchscreen and touch-key keypads or MIFARE® proximity card readers*. They provide easy and intuitive access to system functions for every user.

Smart HUB controllers and BE WAVE WIRE / BE WAVE HYBRID control panels meet the strict requirements of the EN 50131 Grade 2 security standard. These systems can be installed in facilities requiring an enhanced safety level.

Wireless communication

BE WAVE Hybrid control panels and Smart HUB controllers use proven ABAX 2 radio technology. Four independent channels in the 868 MHz frequency band* ensure stable transmission even in difficult conditions and high resistance to jamming. Two-way communication and AES encryption guarantee data security. The system responds immediately to events, tampering and interference while ensuring fast control.

* Depending on the country where the system is used, a different frequency band may be utilized – ABAX 2 devices operating in the 915 MHz band are also available.

Note! Within the EU, ABAX 2 devices operate only in the 868 MHz frequency band.

The distance between ABAX 2 devices can reach up to 2000 m in open space. If needed, this distance can be increased using the Smart Repeater (ARU-200).

Fast and resistant communication

BE WAVE HYBRID and BE WAVE WIRE control panels use proven RS-485 bus communication, ensuring stable and interference-resistant system operation. Communication is encrypted, which additionally increases data security.

Support for hardware zones and outputs

With onboard zones and outputs on the main board, and support for I/O expanders, BE WAVE Wire and BE WAVE Hybrid installations can be expanded with conventional detectors, sirens and other devices. Zones and outputs also enable integration with smart locks, HVAC systems and other installations.

Wide range of supported detectors

Wireless detectors, non-bus wired models, and SATEL BUS devices can be used for both security and automation alike. The system supports a wide range of compatible detector types, including motion detectors (PIR, DUAL, and models with built-in camera), opening detectors, glass break detectors, gas detectors, flood detectors, and environmental sensors for temperature, pressure and humidity.

Effective alarm signalling

Various siren models providing optical and/or acoustic alarm indication can operate within BE WAVE, BE WAVE Wire, and BE WAVE Hybrid systems. Depending on the controller or control panel, both wireless and wired sirens are supported, including non-bus and SATEL BUS models.

Automation devices

BE WAVE controllers and control panels support light dimmers, RGBW LED controllers, thermostatic radiator valves, smart plugs and buttons, roller shutter controllers and universal relay modules.

Upcoming SATEL BUS devices will further expand system capabilities, including support for analogue sensors (current, voltage, resistance, and PWM signals) and lighting controllers.

No compromises in smart features

BE WAVE enables simple and intuitive automation creation using logical functions based on conditions and dependencies. Automation rules follow a clear and easy-to-understand decision-making scheme WHAT-IF-ELSE, defining what happens when conditions are met and what happens otherwise. The system also supports thermostats and schedules, and includes an astronomical clock function and fully configurable presence simulation.

Visual verification

BE WAVE systems provide live access to IP cameras and images captured by motion detectors with a built-in camera* directly in the app and BE WAVE Soft, enabling visual verification both inside and outside the building.

*this function is available only in wireless devices and is therefore supported exclusively by BE WAVE controllers and BE WAVE Hybrid control panels

Virtual IP devices

BE WAVE can receive and send HTTP commands. Incoming commands can trigger IP zones, while commands sent from IP outputs can control external systems.
