I. General information

2. Purpose of personal data processing: all communications related to SATEL activities, statistics and administration, technical support and consultations via the support.satel.pl portal
3. Type of processed data:
a. data provided in the registration form for the support.satel.pl service, depending on the type of user activity: name, e-mail address, company name, VAT ID, postal address; and
b. e-mail address given in the SATEL newsletter subscription form.
4. Personal data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
5. The Controller processes personal data only with the prior consent of the user. Giving consent to the processing of personal data is completely voluntary.
6. By using our websites you accept the terms of the Privacy Policy.

II. Information on cookies

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files, stored on your device (computer, smartphone, etc.), when browsing through Internet website. Cookies usually contain the name of the source website, have a coded duration and a randomly generated unique number used to identify the browser from which you connect to the website. Most cookies are so-called session cookies active only until the browser is closed (i.e. when you log out or close your browser window). Some of them help to identify users when they re-visit the website, i.e. they are not deleted automatically and are stored on the terminal device.

2. Cookies on our websites

Our websites use performance cookies specifically for gathering data on how visitors use the website, how it is performing so that improvements can be made, and functional cookies which allow the website to remember the user’s preferences and choices. They include:

  • cookies which store personal data after logging in to the support.satel.pl user account or at the request of a user who does not have a support.satel.eu account. They make subsequent completion of the service request form much easier,
  • session cookies (expire when the session is closed) – used when logging the user into the website panel,
  • cookies to indicate acceptance of the privacy policy of our websites
  • and others, which facilitate the use of the website.
3. What changes can you make to the cookies on our websites?
  • You can set the level of protection against cookies in the Internet browser and can even completely block them to increase the level of security and data protection. However, the use of our websites will then be more difficult.
  • If you don’t change the settings, you accept cookies used on our websites.
  • You can therefore configure your browser to reject all cookies, not to delete cookies, or to send you a notification when such cookies are sent from the server.
  • You may also delete any temporary files stored on your device when browsing our websites. Each of the web browsers available on the market allows cookies management. III. Other information regarding the privacy policy

1. If you have subscribed to or otherwise been added to our subscriber database, we will use this data to send you our newsletter.
2. Personal data (name, e-mail address) collected through our constant forms are used exclusively for contact purposes.

3. You have the right, at any time and without giving reasons, to

  • opt out of the processing of your personal data; your resignation may also apply to the purpose you have indicated for processing your data;
  • request the deletion of your personal data;
  • request the restriction of processing your personal data by SATEL – both in terms of time and scope;
  • request the correction or change of your personal data;
  • request information about the scope of personal data processing by SATEL.

5. We make every effort to secure our websites against any unauthorised access by third parties. We control our methods of gathering, storing, and processing data. We use the best modern security solutions, including the use of firewalls, server security programs, encryption devices, and physical security measures. All these provide a high level of protection against unauthorised access to personal data processed by SATEL.
6. Only our employees and various operators (e.g. couriers, transport companies, postal service) are granted access to the personal data exclusively for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
