New features in the latest BE WAVE update

Discover what we’ve added with the newest BE WAVE release

The latest BE WAVE system update brings a host of new features and improvements designed to make system configuration and day-to-day operation even easier. New versions of the mobile app, BE WAVE Soft, firmware for BE WAVE Hybrid and BE WAVE Wire control panels, and Smart HUB controllers make installation, configuration, and everyday use easier while giving installers more powerful configuration and diagnostic tools.

Greater control over BUS detector settings

One of the key highlights of this update is the expanded system configuration. Installers now have more control over BUS detector settings, including independent PIR and microwave (MW) sensitivity adjustment for dual-technology detectors with up to 16 sensitivity levels, selectable LED indicator colours, and automatic activation of the built-in LUNA lighting when motion is detected.

Secure access control at the entrance
BE WAVE Hybrid and BE WAVE Wire control panels now support the CR-MF3 and CR-MF5 devices. The CR-MF3 is a MIFARE® card reader, while the CR-MF5 combines a regular keypad with an integrated MIFARE® card reader. Both devices are designed for outdoor use and feature weather-resistant enclosures, making them suitable for installation at doors and gates.
New user and notification settings
This release introduces support for temporary users, who can be granted access for a defined period of time. These accounts can also be automatically removed once that period expires. Notification settings have also been expanded. Administrators can now assign individual phone numbers and e-mail addresses to each user for notifications. They can also define the language of keypad messages for users who do not use the mobile app.

More automation options and improved diagnostics

The update introduces new automation features. Routines can now automatically enable the WiFi access point (available for BE WAVE Hybrid and Smart HUB), providing local access to the system if the connection to the SATEL server is unavailable. Routines can also automatically arm and disarm the system. In addition, a new usage counter for scenes and routines helps installers manage available automation resources. A new device search function has also been added to diagnostic mode.

Quality-of-life improvements

The latest update also includes a number of quality-of-life improvements, ranging from refinements to wireless communication and diagnostic functions to user interface enhancements and minor bug fixes reported by our users.
