SATEL Lab at the Technical University of Łódź

On 10 March 2010, an Alarm Systems and Access Control Laboratory was officially opened at the Institute of Electronics of the Technical University of Łódź. It is another lab in Poland, located at a university, under the patronage of SATEL.

In this way students will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills related to the design, configuration and installation of modern security systems. The laboratory classes are held at the faculty of first degree engineering studies in the Polish language (from the summer semester of the academic year 2009/10). Preparations for classes in the English language are underway, as well as plans for a postgraduate course in the future.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the Institute of Electronics, led by Prof. Andrzej Materka, PhD Hab.. At 11.00, Prof. Slawomir Wiak, PhD Hab., Dean of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, officially opened the laboratory. The invited guests, journalists and students had the opportunity to take a closer look at the workstations and become familiar with their functionality.
