SATEL at Security Essen 2016

The 41^st edition of the Security Essen trade fair in Germany has passed. This event takes place every two years and is one of the largest in the security industry, both in Europe and worldwide. This is confirmed by an impressively large number of exhibitors - up to 1,040 from 45 countries - who presented in this edition their latest solutions. During four days, the exhibition was visited by over 40 thousand security industry professionals from 119 countries.

SATEL, along with ASL Ademco, Satel's distributor for the German market, presented the products from its regular portfolio, as well as its latest additions. The company's stand was visited by many security industry professionals and enthusiasts from Europe, Asia and Africa. The solutions that drew particular interest from the visitors included:

• ability to integrate the ACCO NET access control system with the alarm systems based on INTEGRA control panels,
• elements to implement home automation, or the so-called KNX actuators,
• integration of the alarm systems based on INTEGRA control panels with the KNX building automation systems.

The solutions presented by the exhibitors clearly point to the direction in which the security industry is heading: intuitive and remote operation of products. The concept of product range development chosen by SATEL fits in perfectly with this trend.
