Technical College contest

On the 4th of June, the students from Technical College for Telecommunications took part in contest held under SATEL's patronage, for the composition of an INTEGRA 32 based security system, which was held in Gdansk in the school's headquarters.

45 competitors from 2nd and 3rd Grade participated in the written part, which covered the knowledge area on CA-5 and CA-6 control panel based security systems, as well as SATEL's detectors. They have showed their outstanding potential in this subject, and 20 of them passed to the final round. 10 teams were given a practical competition which required proper wiring of the system by the use of provided cables.

Almost 200 students from other classes who cheered the competitors motivated them and gave a wonderful support. Both time and workmanship quality have been very carefully checked by the jury. Students were given 30 minutes to finish the task. After 2 hours all teams have finished the battle with time, equipment and stress. The team which won the whole competition have reached a result that surprised everyone - their time was 12min 17s. Next two teams have also achieved a very good score.

First three teams, apart from small gifts, were given a chance to receive a paid work experience sponsored by SATEL.
