SATEL at IFSEC 2007
For the fourth time this year SATEL has participated in the IFSEC 2007 exhibition, held in Great Britain between 21 - 24th of May. This major European event for whole security related business should be an obligatory point in a calendar for each company that wants to be present on international market. It gathers exhibitors and visitors from all continents.
Due to growing number of products offered by SATEL, we have decided to increase the stand area. It allowed us to present almost the whole range of our products. Part of them were shown during previous fairs. Some were modified to even better adapt they features to local markets' demands. It especially applies to CA-64 E and CA-64 EPS zone expansion modules, which add the support for vibration and roller blinds detectors.
Visitors were mostly interested in new control panel from INTEGRA series - INTEGRA 128-WRL. This control panel supports both hardwired and wireless devices and is equipped with built-in GSM module. For data transmission in GSM network, GPRS technology may be utilized.
Few product boards were strictly dedicated to new wireless products such as: dual technology PIR+MW detector, glass break detector, vibration detector, flood detector, power supply equipped zones and outputs expansion wireless module, and remote control keyfobs for the wireless system Keyfob remotes may be used to operate INTEGRA range of control panels.
It became possible by the use of INT-RX expansion module, which supports up to 248 keyfobs. Among new devices dedicated for INTEGRA panels there are partition keypads with built-in proximity card readers. These keypads are designed for outdoor operation, just like two new proximity card readers.
SATEL is actively developing equipment for rapidly growing TCP/IP reporting market. For INTEGRA users, ETHM-1 provides such functionality for some time yet. ETHM-2 introduced at the exhibition enables the users of any alarm control panel to benefit of this feature.
Each year brings its technological innovations, which applies to security industry as well. The exhibition enables a perfect opportunity for the verification of market tendencies. IFSEC 2007 held at Birmingham confirms that SATEL's R &D department successfully follows the evolution of security markets.
