ACCO – New, enhanced functionality
The continuous process of products improvement by SATEL have resulted in the modernization of the ACCO system. It have encompassed both the software of access control modules and the ACCO-SOFT-LT program. Design solutions applied in the controllers make it possible to update the software in a single module or, automatically, in all modules connected to the bus, using a suitable program. The new functionality of the device and the program gives the Customers greater capabilities regarding the management and administration of the access control system.
System Visualization
The system administrator has received a new tool to visualize the supervised object. Different components (e.g. controllers, controlled doors, cameras) can be arranged on the site plan. The status of controllers is constantly updated. Pictograms symbolizing the modules provide information on the status of the module, its power supply, terminals connected to the module and the door controlled by it. The role of the plan is not limited to the informational function only. With the icons, you can e.g. easily unblock such a door.
Comparison
The tool for comparing data between the program and the modules is now easier to use and more friendly for the administrator. The program clearly shows the comparable data. Depending on their type, the administrator can start the automatic correction process or make some changes manually. Administrator intervention may be required especially if there is a conflict between the users' data.
Passage Functions
Unauthorized opening of the door may not be interpreted as the forced entry. Unblocking / blocking the door may take place in accordance with the access schedule, specially created for that purpose.
Exporting Events
The program provides an option to export events in selected format (CSV, Excel) to file. This makes it easier to view them later without running the program, and also allows archiving.
Control of Communication Quality
The program is constantly monitoring the correctness of communication between the program and the modules present in the system.
If any problems with the communication occur, the diagnostic tools available to the administrator will facilitate the troubleshooting.
USERS
Limiting entries - having in view the places where passes for a specific number of entries are sold, such as fitness clubs, swimming pools
or saunas, a parameter has been added to specify the maximum number of user entries.
Easier group creating - with the new option, connecting users in groups can be made easier. You can create a group based on individual user authorizations. The administrator can also check whether the user data make him eligible to belong to a group that already existed, and which is characterized by the same authorizations as the user has. The division into groups greatly facilitates the process of administering users.
User(s) report - the administrator has been given an option to generate reports in PDF format, containing information about selected users. These data significantly facilitate the process of user management.
Presence report - a tool has been added for recording the time of user presence. The administrator can define the entry / exit rules, based on the modules available in the system. Setting the specific rules makes it possible to determine who and how long stayed in the room or on the entire premises. The database gathers information about the entries and exits of employees. On this basis, the presence time is calculated and a report is generated, which may later be useful in work time tracking and overtime/wage calculation.
Presence control - based on the features used to create the presence report, you can in a simple way control the presence of staff
on the premises.
ANNOUNCEMENT
Support for readers to send data in Wiegand 26 format
Until now, SATEL has offered devices in which the data transmission during user identification was only possible in one format, i.e. EM-MARIN. The new modules, designated ACCO-KPWG and ACCO-KPWG-PS, will provide support for readers sending data
in Wiegand 26 format.
